Summer Delight (9 Days)

Day 1: Events at the Indus Valley/ acclimatization
Your first day in Ladakh comes with acclimatizing your body to this high altitude land. We are glad you have booked your hotel stay with us, as this will be a great way for you to know your hotel. This will leave you with ample time to rest in your hotel room while enjoying the latest shows on a large TV screen or to admire the 20,000 ft. peaks that surround the Indus Valley. Stay at the hotel and indulge in experiences like learning how to wrap a dumpling from our chefs or putting a final touch to the pizza going into the wood fired ovens.
Day 2: Leh-Thiksey-Hemis
On your second day, we will visit Thiksey Monastery, the largest monastery in central Ladakh. This Tibetan Buddhist monastery sits pretty atop the hills. Having 12 stories and 10 temples, it houses more than 100 monks. From here we take you to Hemis, which is famous for its National Park.
Day 3: Leh-Basgo-Aichi-Ule
From Leh, we take you to the Basgo Monastery, a Buddhist monastery built during the reign of Namgyal rulers in 1680. According to the Ladakhi Chronicles, it was a major political and cultural center. In the 15th century, a palace was constructed in Basgo to surround the monastery. Aichi is also famous for the tranquil ambiance that characterizes its alluring monastery. After this, we take you to the final stop of the day - Ule known for its ethnic resort.
Day 4: Ule-Lamayuru-Likir-Leh
Start your day in the stunning ethnic resort in Ule. From there, we take you to Lamayuru, a small village in Ladakh, situated in the periphery of Kargil. It is known for its impressive crescent shaped landscapes famously known as Moonland. From here, we take you to Likir, a picturesque village situated along the Indus River. It has an alluring monastery, which you can visit with your family and friends. From here, we take you to Leh, where you can retire in your hotel room and call it a night.
Day 5: Leh-Diskit-Hunder
Start your fifth day at Diskit Monastery, the most ancient and the largest Buddhist monastery in Ladakh's Nubra Valley. It belongs to the Gelugpa sect, a branch of Tibetan Buddhism. From here, we take you to Hunder, the place known for its radiating silver sand dunes.
Day 6: Morning Camel Safari and back to Leh
After spending a night in Hunder, we take you for a camel safari the next morning. After this, we head straight back to Leh where you can unwind at the hotel and enjoy the cultural shows or play an indoor game with your loved ones.
Day 7: Leh-Pangong
On your seventh day, we take you to Pangong Tso, which is situated 224 Km away from Leh. It means "high grassland lake" in Tibetan language. This lake is situated at a height of about 4,350 m and is accessible via Chang La, the second highest motor-able road in India. You stay at a luxury camp overnight on the shores of the lake.
Day 8: Pangong-Leh
Open your eyes in the beautiful land of Pangong, and get set for an exciting long drive back to Leh. Once we reach Leh, you can relax in the comfortable ambiance of your hotel room and relax for the night. Sit back and enjoy a soak in the bathtub or play a game of pool with your family.
Day 9: Leh sightseeing and shopping
Conclude the package with a day in the city. Visit the shimmering white Shanti Stupa, which is dedicated to Buddhism. Then visit the Hall of fame a museum dedicated to the Indian Army and a trip into the history of wars in Ladakh. In the evening, you can stop by at the local Tibetan Market to get a few gifts for your near and dear ones or buy antiques for your home.
